Orientation at NDSU will acquaint you with the campus and give
you an opportunity to discuss the many facets of university
life in small-group discussions. Information on academic
requirements, course offerings, financial aid, campus
activities and more will be offered. You will also attend a
planning session with an academic adviser, who will answer your
questions so that you can register for your fall courses while
you are here.
Family members are invited to attend the orientation program as well, as they will play a crucial role in the success of the student. We have an orientation program designed to familiarize the adults in your life with NDSU and its many resources. They will learn about what to expect during your college years and how they fit into the picture. Most family orientation programming is separate from the student program. Please note that there is not programming for small children.
