Part C: Take Test

1. Select the My Blackboard tab and find My Courses. Click on "090-NDSU-MATH-00001: Math Placement (2009-2010)."

2. Click on "Math Placement Test" to take the test.

The exam timer is located in the upper right corner of the page. This rolling timer will track how long you have been taking the exam.

A warning will appear when you have one minute to complete the exam. If you take longer than the allotted 25 minutes, you will still be able to submit your exam; however, your exam will not be scored.

3. When finished with the exam, click "Submit."

4. After submitting both portions of the test, click on "Score Interpreter" link to find out which Math course(s) you will be eligible to register for.

5. Math Placement Test scores are valid for one calendar year from the date of the test. Students who do not enroll in a math course within one year of taking the Math Placement Test must re-take the test.
